What are the best Nike Women's running leggings right now?

Looking for new running leggings? Discover the best Nike running leggings that combine style, performance and practicality for all types of runs, whether you’re an occasional jogger or seasoned marathoner.

How to choose the best pair of running leggings for you?

Know your size

It’s sometimes tricky to pick the right activewear size, especially with stretchier fabrics.

One of the reasons why I love Nike is because every item I’ve had so far is absolutely true to size and I never had any issues. Unless specified otherwise on the website, chose your usual “normal clothing” size and you should be fine.

Which fit?

Low, mid or high rise will depend on your preference. I personally prefer a mid-rise waistband when it comes to running leggings. Length wise, if you’re short you might find that cropped length leggings are best.

Check the fabric

Polyester is stretchy by nature and doesn’t loose its original shape which makes it a great fabric for leggings. Nowadays it’s fairly easy to use recycled polyester (Nike uses at least 50% recycled polyester fibres for many items) which is more environmentally friendly.

Pockets

Pockets are a must! Always check that the leggings you’re buying have pockets for your keys, phone and energy gels.

Reflective details?

If you’re running a lot in the dark, you might want some reflective details on your leggings but regardless, I’d absolutely recommend heading out with a head torch and even some lights on your backpack. A shiny detail on your leggings will not make you visible enough.

Nike Go High-Waisted 7/8 Leggings

Sriking the perfect balance between support and comfort, the Go Leggings are crafted from the squat-proof InfinaLock fabric, which provides a compressive and supportive feel.

The extra-wide waistband isdesigned to reduce rolling, pinching and sliding so your leggings stay in place while you run.

Unprecedented in convenience, they have no less 6 pockets, including 2 angled seamless side pockets for easy access, 3 drop-in pockets on the back of the waist, and a thigh zip pocket – ensuring you have everything you need at your fingertips.

From my personal experience, these leggings run true to size but they can feel quite compressive so you might prefer to go one size up. The 7/8 length is a perfect full length for petite runners!
