Meet Vegano, the best vegan restaurant in Malaga?
Are you visiting Malaga and looking for vegan restaurants? Discover Meet Vegano, a 100% plant-based spot that is definitely worth a visit.
About Meet Vegano
Meet Vegano is a 100% plant-based restaurant in Malaga city centre. They opened in February 2022 and have quickly become a must-visit spot for plant-based foodies, attracting both locals and tourists.
Their well-deserved success is another sign that the demand for plant-based cuisine is growing and that Malaga’s vegan food scene is booming.
The restaurant is very cozy and welcoming, but there aren’t many tables, so I’d recommend calling them to book if you really want to get a table!
Address and opening times:
The restaurant is located at Calle Marin Garcia 6, Málaga 29005.
They are open every evening from Tuesday to Sunday (19:00-23:00) and also welcome you for lunch from Wednesday to Sunday.
Meet Vegano menu
The creative dishes are inspired by different cuisines from all over the world, catering for every taste and preference. Whether you love a comforting burger or prefer to try a more exotic dish, you’ll find something that tickles your fancy.
The seasonal menu changes regularly, but here are the incredible dishes I could choose from when I visited Meet Vegano in December:
Meet Vegano review
The service
The service was impeccable, the team working there when I visited was very friendly and helpful (I was really trying to practice my Spanish).
I was given enough time to look at the menu and didn’t feel rushed, but at the same time I didn’t wait too long until they came to take my order.
The food arrived fairly quickly, as it’s a small team I was honestly expecting a longer wait.
The food
I’m usually not a burger person, but the crunchy vegan burger seemed rather amazing on the menu, so I went for it. It was even more spectacular in real and I’d recommend it if it’s still on the menu when you visit!
The vegan patty was very soft and didn’t taste too meaty, the crunchy bun was extremely tasty and the melted cheese was my favourite part of the burger.
It was a big portion and I didn’t manage to finish it all, but when I was told that Biscoff Cheesecake was on the dessert menu, I suddenly felt like I still had some room for a sweet treat. I mean, how can you possibly turn down anything with Biscoff in it?
This cheesecake was served warmed with some biscoff spread on the side, and it was absolutely incredible. One of the best vegan desserts I’ve ever tried.
The price
I paid 24€ for a glass of house made lemonade, the burger and the cheesecake. It’s of course not as cheap as picking up some empanadas, but I felt it was a reasonable price for the quality of the food and the service.
Final words
To sum it up, my only regret about Meet Vegano is that I didn’t visit this place earlier! It’s a great addition to the local vegan food scene and I hope they’ll soon be able to move to a bigger location.
As you have probably guessed, I cannot recommend visiting Meet Vegano enough. I hope your experience will be as great as mine and that you’ll love the food (and the playlist!)
