My running essentials: the best kit I couldn’t train without
I have been running seriously for a few years now and I tried a lot of shoes, supplements and accessories. Not everything worked for me, but some items have become my all-time favourites and absolute staples to support my training.
Favourite running kit
Easy running shoes: On CloudEclipse and Saucony Ride 17
Speed & tempo training shoes: Saucony Endorphin Speed 4
Race shoes: On Cloudboom Echo 3
Running clothes: SAYSKY from head to toes, which is performance oriented without compromising on style or comfort.

Go-to running fuel & supplements
The easiest gels to take: Precision Gels. They are almost flavourless and I’ve never had any issues with them.
Gels with 50g carbs: STYRKR Gels are great for a higher carb intake and I like both Citrus & Berry flavours.
Pre-run fuel: STYRKR Bar50 is my go-to before a long run, a workout or even a race.

Electrolytes: Humantra electrolytes are the tastiest. Especially the Elderberry flavour!
Magnesium: I take Pillar Performance Triple Magnesium for muscle recovery and also to help improve my sleep.
Running tech accessories I use every day
Heart Rate Monitor: Coros armband. It’s as accurate and so much more comfortable than a chest strap.
Running Watch: Garmin Forerunner 745 which doesn’t seem to be available anymore. I’ll probably get another Forerunner next.
Headphones: my Powerbeats Pro have carried me through many speed workouts, long run and even some races where I needed some tunes for a mental boost. However, when I feel that I need to stay extra aware of my surroundings, I wear my Shokz headphones. The open-ear technology allows you to still hear what’s going on around you.
