Love Middle-Eastern food? If you’re ever in Malaga, you need to go to Vegan-té La Siria! Here’s my honest review of this 100% plant-based spot.

They are open from Wednesday to Sunday for lunch (12 to 4:30pm) and some evenings. Opening times are here.
The exact address is: Calle Ancha del Carmen, 35, Local 2, 29002 Málaga
Vegan-té La Siria Menu
Vegan-té La Siria specialises in Middle-Eastern food, The whole menu is vegan with some gluten-free options.
Alongside the classic hummus and pita bread, Mutabbal (aubergine dip) and falafel, the menu also features a vegan burger, salads and Chawarma.
You can choose the size of some dishes, for instance tapa size, which is ideal if you’re ordering some starters to share or want to try a bit of everything.
Still room for dessert? Ask about the cake of the day! It could well be a chocolate and peanut butter cake or a carrot cake.
Drink wise, you’ll have multiple beer options, as well as soft drinksm and tinto de verano.
Honest review of Vegan-té La Siria
I went twice as a paying customer and here are my honest thoughts on this Middle-Eastern vegan restaurant in the heart of Malaga.
The restaurant & service
It is a cute but tiny spot, you may want to reserve if you’re a group. If you come for a late lunch (after 2:30pm), you should be able to get a table outside.
It is run by a small team (there were only two staff members when I went there for lunch). They are doing a fantastic job and the dishes are quick to prepare, but you may wait a little while if you come at peak time.
The food
I really enjoyed every item of the menu I tried, and the excellent Google reviews don’t lie. This is a great Middle-Eastern restaurant in Malaga!
If you just want to order one dish that has a bit of everything, I’d recommend the Falafel platter which has falafels, hummus and salad. This is what I had on my first visit, my only regret is that I didn’t order a side of pita bread for the hummus.
I was rather starving when I went there the second time, as I was just back from visiting Caminito Del Rey which is definitely worth it but expect to be hungry after this 7km walk! It was nearly 3pm so quite a late lunch for me and I was in the mood for a variety of savours.
I started with a tapa portion of hummus and Mtabbal which both come with pita bread. The aubergine dip in particular was very tasty and refreshing.
I then had one falafel wrap which was really filling and packed with flavours. If you’re ordering this as your main dish, ask for 2 wraps.
I decided to finish on a sweet note and ordered the cake of the day, which was chocolate and peanut butter. I wouldn’t say it was the best dessert ever but it was a pretty good vegan cake and it satisfied my sweet tooth.
The price
Prices are very reasonable and you can enjoy a nice meal for less than 20€. I paid 13.5€ the first time for the falafel platter and a tinto de verano. I paid 15.90€ the second time for 2 tapas, 1 wrap and 1 piece of cake.
I’d say it’s great value for money and a plant-based spot worth visiting when you’re in Malaga!

I would personally recommend booking a guided tour of Caminito del Rey departing from Malaga, which is much less hassle than trying to organise the visit yourself.
