Where to eat vegan pancakes in Malaga? Brunchit Review

Are you in Malaga and on the hunt for some vegan pancakes? Here’s where you need to go for an amazing stack of fluffy vegan pancakes in Malaga.

Where to find vegan pancakes in Malaga

Although the vegan scene in Malaga is great and always expanding, finding vegan pancakes is somehow still tricky.

As of now (November 2022) and after being in Malaga for over a month, I’ve only been able to find one place that has vegan pancakes on the menu: Brunchit.

The stack of 3 rather big pancakes is topped with fresh berries, roasted banana and come with the most delicious homemade caramel sauce.

The pancakes themselves are very fluffy and tasty. Some vegan pancakes can leave you feeling a bit disappointed, but Brunchit have nailed their recipe, they were amongst the best vegan pancakes I’ve ever had.

After this stack of pancakes, you’ll be ready for a full day of enjoying what Malaga has to offer, whether you’re heading to the beach or want to explore the area. Why not book a tour whilst you’re here?

I would personally recommend going to Caminito del Rey for spectacular views. You can read my tour review here.

Brunchit: the place to brunch in Malaga and beyond

About Brunchit

Brunchit was born in 2015 in Malaga and quickly conquered other Spanish cities. There are now three restaurants in Malaga, one in Marbella, one in Madrid, one in Alicante and one in Palma.

Brunchit offers a “fine brunching” experience, revisiting and elevating iconic brunch dishes which are all very insta-worthy.

The restaurants are open every day from 9 to 4pm, welcoming you for breakfast or brunch.

Brunchit menu

The menu changes from time to time, but you’ll always find staple items such as egg dishes, avo toast, burgers and salads.

Brunchit caters for every diet and they have a handful of vegan options. When I visited, I could opt for the pancakes, the Beyond Meat Clean burger, the avo toast and the acai bowl.

The vegan and veggie options are clearly labelled so there’s no confusion possible. You can look at their current menu here.

You can also get a bunch of different coffees including some fancy specialties, juices and milkshakes. There are several plant-based milk options: soya, almond and oat milk. However I think it’s a shame that they’re one of those places that charge extra for plant milk.

Is it worth the price?

I paid 16.80€ for the pancakes and an almond flat white.

Brunchit isn’t the most affordable restaurant in the area, but the service is speedy and the dishes are delicious (not to mention that the portions are not small at all!) so I don’t think the price is completely unjustified.

I didn’t make it my daily canteen but it’s a great spot to visit once or twice.

The prices are not on the menu, so here are a few examples to give you an idea (prices in November 2022 in Malaga):

  • 3€ for a classic coffee (latte, cappuccino, flat white) with 0.30€ supplement for plant milk.

  • Between 11.50€ and 14€ for the toasts, burgers and egg dishes

  • 12.50 for the normal pancakes with bacon and eggs, 13.50€ for the vegan ones
