About ILIA Beauty
ILIA Beauty founder Sasha is from Vancouver and has always been a nature lover. After working in the beauty industry for several years, she was encouraged by her mother, a wellness enthusiast, to read the ingredient list of her favourite lip balm.
Sasha discovered that many of these ingredients carried potential health risks. She decided to create an alternative, safe and natural version of the lip balm. This is how the ILIA adventure began in 2011.

Most ILIA Beauty products are vegan. The only animal-derived ingredient used in a handful of products is ethically sourced beeswax from Europe, through suppliers that harvest it sustainably without harming bees.
