Feel Skincare review

Great news, Feel have just launched Feel Skin, their own skincare range in line with their philosophy: honest ingredients, convenient products, formulas backed by Science. I tested each Feel Skincare product, and here’s my honest review of the range.

This is a collaboration with Feel. As always, this review reflects my own opinions and I wouldn’t recommend anything I don’t use, enjoy or see benefits from.

Introducing Feel Skin, cruelty-free and vegan skincare range by Feel

They are certified cruelty-free & vegan, made with close to 100% naturally-derived ingredients and free from any nasties. Plus, every single product is suitable for all skin types, ages and genders!

Feel skincare formulas are packed with high-quality ingredients that have been proven to do wonders for the skin, from brightening Vitamin C to soothing Vitamin E, moisture-drawing Hyaluronic Acid and anti-ageing Padina Pavonica (a Marine Algae) to name a few.

My honest review of Feel skincare range

Prior to writing this review, I used the whole Feel skincare range everyday for a few weeks to get a proper (pardon the pun) “feel” for the products.

Overall first impressions

I really like the concept of universal skincare, with products suitable for all skin types, ages and genders. This is especially convenient for those who want to look after their skin but are not sure about their skin type or are overwhelmed with the thousands of skincare products available, not knowing what is suitable for them.

A few ingredients in Feel skincare are targeting signs of ageing, but there are benefits to incorporating such ingredients into your skincare routine before the first signs of ageing appear, so you can totally use Feel skincare in your twenties.

Not only is Feel Skin a straightforward and effective skincare routine for everyone, but the products are delivered straight to your door.

I also really like the packaging. Each product comes in a pump bottle, which is very handy to get a precise amount of product and also preserves the quality of the formulas which are not exposed to air and light.

Feel Skin All-in-one Micellar Foaming Cleanser

Cleansing my skin is probably my favourite step in my skincare routine, especially in the evening as I feel like I’m “washing the day away” and I love the feeling of fresh, clean skin.

I love how foamy this cleanser is and how easily it removes makeup and impurities. Another great thing about this product is that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or tight.

If you have sensitive skin, it is totally suitable. It’s also the perfect cleanser if you don’t have time to double-cleanse.

Feel Skin Smart Serum

If you asked me what my favourite Feel skincare product is, I’d say the serum. I absolutely love the lightweight, gel-like texture that feels silky smooth to the touch.

Vitamin C is a key ingredient I look for in the serums I use, and I was really pleased to see it in the ingredient list of the Smart Serum. Vitamin C is a very beneficial active for those (like me) who tend to have dull skin and need a radiant boost. It can also help improve skin texture.

I also like the fact that it is infused with Padina Pavonica, a Marine Algae known for its anti-ageing properties.

Feel Skin Antioxidant Day Cream

Feel have nailed the texture of this moisturiser: it’s ultra light and silky and penetrates really quickly, which I much prefer over heavier, thicker moisturisers.

The formula may be featherlight, but it packs a bunch of benefits for the skin. Whilst Padina Pavonica targets signs of ageing, Papaya extracts has a brightening effect and Argan Oil prevents dehydration.

Combined with the serum, this moisturiser literally wakes my skin up in the morning. It looks more radiant, refreshed and doesn’t feel tight or thirsty during the day.

Plus, the White Lotus smell of this moisturiser is divine.

Feel Skin Reviving Eye Cream

I don’t really have dark circles but I am conscious of fine lines and my skin has a tendency to be dull, which of course makes me look more tired than I really am.

I found that using an eye cream that contains Hyaluronic Acid really helps “plump” the under eye area and it makes a huge difference to how rested I look.

This eye cream has a slightly richer texture than the moisturiser but it gives you a little more time to massage it into the skin and gently re-activate blood flow in the area. It also has the same refreshing White Lotus smell.

Final words

With this collection of 4 essentials, Feel have successfully branched into skincare in my opinion. I’ve been enjoying using every single product (with a sweet spot for the serum) and each formula is packed with benefits for every skin type and age.

The textures are lovely, so are the scents and the sensory aspect of skincare is extremely important to me. Skincare is a part of my self-care routine, and I want to use products that not only deliver results but also make me feel good when I apply them.

One thing to note though, is that Feel skincare doesn’t contain SPF, which should be part of your daily routine. I would highly recommend completing your routine with a face sunscreen or a primer/foundation that contains SPF to keep your skin away from potential sun damage (and premature ageing)
