About Allplants
Allplants is a meal delivery service company with a fully plant-based menu. They’ve got you covered for lunch and dinner, but they also have breakfast pots, smoothies and tasty desserts.
Allplants deliver in most of the UK. The meals arrive frozen, in an insulated box. When you don’t have time to cook or simply don’t fancy, you just need to grab a meal from the freezer and pop it in the microwave or the oven.

Allplants high protein meals
I’m very active and need to pay attention to my protein intake, to ensure that my diet fuels my training. Many vegan ready meals don’t contain a whole lot of protein but this isn’t the case with Allplants.
I found that many of their meals pack a really good amount of protein per serving (18 to 26g) and as I don’t really make any effort when it comes to cooking, these ready meals taste better than what I’d make myself!
Please note: Allplants regularly update their menu. Some meals may not be available when you’re reading this post.
Allplants high protein meals with less than 400kcal per serving
Protein bolognese bowl: one of my favourite Allplants meals, I order it on repeat. The bolognese is made of soya mushroom mince, which is really tasty and filling. This meal has 19.1g of protein and 297kcal per serving.
Creamy Spinach Gnocchi: The cheesy sauce and nutty garlic crumb combined with potato gnocchi and leafy greens make it a very satisfying meal. It has 18.6g protein and 332kcal per serving.
Roasted Veggie Lasagne: The only downside of this meal is that you’ve got to be patient and heat it up in the oven. But it’s worth the wait, just for the creamy bechamel! This meal has 18g protein and 360kcal per serving.
Truffle Mushroom Orzo: Another favourite of mine, always in my order. I absolutely love the heart-warming cashew-based creamy sauce, which pairs so well with the orzo, spinach and sautéed mushrooms. This meal packs 19.1g protein and 398kcal per serving.
Allplants high protein meals with less than 500kcal per serving
Lentil + Chutney Chana Bowl: A lot of Allplants high protein meals are pasta-based, so this one offers a bit of variety. I love the mix of flavours between the chickpea smash, sweet potato and lentils. It has 19g protein and 409kcal per serving.
Portobello Mushroom Stroganoff: A creamy mushroom pasta dish is such a staple, and this is a handy meal to have in your freezer! It’s perfectly seasoned with garlic and paprika, and the wholewheat penne will keep you full for quite a few hours. This meal has 18g protein and 412kcal per serving.
Tofu Pad Thai: This is really tasty, unfortunately a little too spicy for me (my threshold is quite low). But if you love a sweet and salty mix of flavours, this is a good pick. It has 20g protein and 468kcal per serving.
Allplants high protein meals with over 22g protein per serving
Lentil Moussaka: This moussaka takes a while to re-heat in the oven, so it’s not one for when you’re in a rush. But the soy mince and lentil ragu with potatoes and aubergines coated in bechamel sauce make a very satisfying meal, with 24.4g protein and 465kcal per serving.
Creamy Rigatoni with Plant Based 'Nduja: Another one that was slightly too spicy for my liking, but I removed some of the smoky sauce and was able to enjoy it. This meal is part of the seasonal Winter menu, it has 22,1g protein and 472kcal per serving.
Rigatoni Carbonara: An absolute staple for the days you fancy a comforting pasta dish without having to do any cooking. Just thinking of the rigatoni pasta with the creamy carbonara sauce and pancetta mushrooms topped with an almond crumb makes me hungry. This meal has 23.4g protein and 489kcal per serving.
Protein Power Bowl: I added this meal for the first time in my latest order and I’ll definitely get it again. It’s a tastier version of the nourish bowls I like to put together, with a bunch of different flavours and textures, from miso roasted tofu to sweet chilli broccoli. This meal has a whopping 26.5g protein and 530kcal per serving.
Allplants breakfast pots with over 10g protein per serving
I made a mistake when I decided to add some breakfast pots to my Allplants order, because I quickly got used to their convenience and now I think making my own porridge takes too much time!
My go-to breakfasts are the ones that are the highest in protein, so they keep me full for longer.
PB+J Oat Pot: The soaked chia oats with raspberry jam and maple syrup taste even better with the generous layer of Pip & Nut’s peanut butter at the bottom. I could have this everyday. This pot packs 11g protein and 330kcal per serving.
Carrot Cake Bircher: Another delicious option, although it is a little soggy and not the most visually pleasing. The nourishing oat, seed and grated carrot combo is topped with chopped apricot, toasted walnuts and a delicious vanilla cashew topping. It has 11g protein and 307kcal per serving.
