SAYSKY Counter Stripes collection
The brand leaned on their minimalistic Scandinavian roots for this collection, which is all about black and white stripes. Because running is “not a straight shot to the finish line”.
The inspiration behind this collection is that in order to succeed, we need to stay on the path, but the path is not linear.
Both life and our running journey will take through some turns, detours and obstacles. This is visually represented in the collection by some unexpected twists thrown in the designs, such as change of stripe direction (for instance on the sports bra and shorts as shown below) and the woven logo not being square.
The Counter Stripes collection is straightforward: singlet, T-shirt, shorts, jacket for both genders, and a sports bra for women.

SAYSKY Counter Stripes collection review
I have three pieces from this collection: the sports bra, T-shirt and 2-in-1 shorts which I’ve been putting to the test in the past few weeks.
Combat Sports Bra
The Combat Sports Bra is my favourite running bra and I’m really glad that it now comes in a striped design as part of this collection.
It offers medium support and is equipped with removable pads. What I love the most about the Combat lines is that they’re incredibly soft and lightweight, perfect for the most intense training sessions.
This bra features the brand’s SAYSKYDRY Performance Fabric which has sweat wicking abilities, and the mesh back adds more stretch (aka more comfort) whilst providing extra ventilation.

Combat T-shirt
Just like the sports bras, I love the Combat T-shirts for their comfortable fit and moisture-wicking properties.
Plus, the technical construction prevents the fabric from clinging to your skin, for even better airflow.
This top is incredibly lightweight and can be worn for all types of activities, from running to HIIT workouts. Because it’s so breathable, it’s also a great top to wear underneath a running jacket on chilly days.

Pace 2-in1 Shorts 3"
I’ve been equally loving these shorts for both running and gym workouts. They’re really handy with their two small inner pockets (ideal for gels and keys) and two side pockets on the inner pants which are big enough to fit a phone. Not to mention the zipped pocket at the pack of the outer shorts!
The inner pants are slightly longer which helps reduce rubbing in areas that are usually chafe-prone. Plus, if you don’t particularly enjoy running in really short shorts, you’ll feel fully covered even in super windy days.
The outer shorts are super flowy, don’t get in the way and you simpy forget they exist!
The waistband is quite wide so if you’re between sizes, go for the smallest one.

I am in the SAYSKY Athlete team for 2024 and receive kit as part of the partnership. I’ve been wearing this brand long before joining their Athlete team and I only recommend products / brands that I personally enjoy and use or wear.
