Medik8 Advanced Night Restore review *Unsponsored*
I’ve just finished my first jar of Medik8 Advanced Night Restore and here’s my honest review of this anti-ageing night cream. Spoiler alert: I’ve ordered a second jar.
This review is not sponsored in any way. I ordered the product myself and have never been gifted any Medik8 skincare.
About Medik8 Advanced Night Restore
Advanced Night Restore by Medik8 is an evening moisturiser that targets fine lines and wrinkles whilst you sleep.
Infused with Ceramides, this rich formula deeply nourishes and visibly firms the skin by replenishing essential lipids and strengthening the natural skin barrier.
It is crafted to enhance the anti-ageing benefits of Vitamin A making it the perfect follow-up moisturiser to apply after your Retinol or Retinal serum.
Who is Medik8 Advanced Night Restore for?
This night cream is perfect for those who are:
Looking for an anti-ageing moisturiser to optimise their evening skincare routine
Are prone to dehydration and need a rich, replenishing formula.
Want to optimise the benefits of a Retinol / Retinal serum with a moisturiser designed to complement this type of treatment.
What are the key ingredients and their benefits?
This night cream is packed with:
Multi-Ceramide Complex (with essential lipids): A blend of ceramides, phytosterol and fatty acids that imitates the skin’s lipid barrier, deeply restoring and nourishing it.
Midnight Antioxidant Complex: A duo of a cell-repairing Peptide and antioxidants that counteracts the visible signs of ageing caused by free radicals,
Saskatoon Berry: This Canadian superfruit inhibits the enzyme that degrades Hyaluronic acid, maintaining the skin's natural moisture levels for a visibly plump appearance.
N-Acetyl Glucosamine (NAG): This naturally occurring molecule works really well with retinol/retinal serums to promote the synthesis of Hyaluronic acid within the body. This is why this moisturiser is the perfect next step after Medik8 Crystal Retinal.

You can order Medik8 Advanced Night Restore online, directly on Medik8 website or via beauty retailers that often run discounts, such as Cult Beauty or Sephora. RRP: £59
Honest review of Medik8 Advanced Night Restore
I’ve just finished my first jar at the time of writing this post, and have another one on the way. Here’s what I enjoy the most about this night cream and why it has become a staple in my evening skincare routine:
The smoothing effect is real. This moisturiser has been visibly improving the appearance of fine lines, it’s like they’ve been blurred and are not as noticeable as before.
It helps keep dehydration at bay. My skin can easily get dehydrated and Hyaluronic Acid is a non-negotiable in my routine. The fact that this formula is designed to not only prevent the degradation of Hyaluronic Acid but also to encourage its synthesis has made a huge difference in how plumped my skin looks in the morning.
The rich but non-greasy texture is a dream. Skincare isn’t just about the benefits, it’s also about how enjoyable a product is to apply. I love how this night cream feels, it’s like putting a comfort blanket over your skin for a replenishing night. It’s slightly thicker than a regular moisturiser but it penetrates swiftly and doesn’t leave you with a greasy feel.
It’s the perfect next step after Crystal Retinal. As I’m getting older, I’m more interested in optimising my skincare routine to ensure that each product serves a purpose, without inhibiting the benefits of another. I’ve been using Medik8 Crystal Retinal for almost a year at this point, I absolutely love this product and I first decided to try this evening moisturiser because it has been specifically formulate to enhance the benefits of Retinal.
To conclude, Medik8 Advanced Night Restore is an evening moisturiser that works really well for me, especially as a complement to Crystal Retinal. If you’ve been looking for an anti-ageing moisturiser that is deeply hydrating, smoothing and enhances the benefits of your Retinol/Retinal serum, I’d highly recommend trying it for yourself.
