INCLINE PRESS MACHINE
What muscles does the Incline Press Machine work?
The Incline Press Machine mainly targets the pectorals (chest muscles) especially the upper portion. It also works the triceps and shoulders. It’s a great chest exercise for beginners who need to build confidence before trying to bench press. Another chest machine you can try is the chest press machine.
How to use the Incline Press Machine?
Adjust the seat height so that the handles are in line with your mid-chest. Start with no weight at all or just some small plates to get used to the movement.
Keep your shoulders on the back padding and try to not arch your lower back too much. Grab the handles with an overhand grip (as shown on the video below).
Slowly press them forward until your arms are almost fully extended (keep your elbows slightly bent to protect your joints). Squeeze your chest.
Get back to your starting position.

Pro tip:
Before you start pressing, pull your shoulders back and down and engage your core.
How to tell if you’re doing it right:
You feel it in your chest. If you can’t press without rolling your shoulders forward, lifting your bum off the seat or over-arching your lower back then you need to lower the weight.
