Veloforte founders are Marc Giusti, advertising expert & long distance cyclist, Lara Giusti, Cardio Respiratory Physiotherapist & recipe creator and Steve Marson, e-commerce specialist & passionate cyclist.

The original inspiration? Panforte, an ancient Italian fortifier from the 13th century. This fortifying blend of fruits, nuts and spices fortifying was believed to restore health and vitality.

Veloforte Chews
The very first Veloforte products I tried were the chews a little over a year ago. I’ve been using them to fuel my runs ever since and I’m absolutely loving them.
These fast release energy chews are 100% natural and handmade with fruit juices. A pack of 6 chews contains up to 44g of carbs (depending on the flavour), as well as 60mg potassium and up to 100mg sodium (which means that you don’t need extra electrolytes if it’s not too warm out there).
I find the chews super easy to consume and to carry during my long runs and I also like to have a couple just before starting a speed workout.
I’ve tried all the flavours and my two favourites are Mela (apple & cinnamon) and Citro (citrus & ginger).
I’ve not had any digestive issues or discomfort when running and they’re a great alternative for those who’re not too keen on gels.

Veloforte Oat Snack Bars
These chewy bars are my go-to snack on the go for just 136 calories. Hand-baked and made with fruit, oats & seeds, they satisfy my sweet tooth without causing a sugar crash and are a much better snack choice than many bars on the market.
I love their chewy texture enhanced with a bit of crunch from the seeds, and I know that they won’t cause bloating or enhance my sugar cravings.
The Oat Snack Bars are perfect for those who’re looking to maintain a gut-friendly diet, as the wholefood recipe features prebiotic rich chicory fibre, and no added sugars, gluten or additives.
I like all of them but the Mango & Coconut version is my personal favourite.

Veloforte Protein Shakes
Packed with superfoods such as Ashwagandha or Ginseng, all-natural adaptogens, spices and plant proteins, these shakes support recovery, gut-health and also bump your protein intake.
So far I’ve only tried one flavour: the Nova recovery protein shake. The blend of Banana, Cocoa and Maca which pairs really well with almond milk. Not only do I love the taste but I also don’t get any bloating from this protein blend.
Each serving has 13g complete plant protein from Pea, Brown Rice & Pumpkin, 2g BCAAs for recovery and 40g natural carbohydrates to replenish energy.
It also features pure electrolytes and Maca, a natural adaptogen that helps combat exercise-induced stress.
