Where to find vegan ice cream in Malaga? Yummy Heladeria

The vegan scene in Malaga is constantly expanding, but the traditional ice cream parlours are late to the party and make it difficult to enjoy a real vegan ice cream that is not sorbet. Thankfully there is one place that plant-based foodies need to visit when in Malaga: Yummy Heladeria

vegan ice cream (not sorbet) isn’t an easy task. Thankfully there is one place that

Yummy Heladeria: the spot for plant-based and gluten-free foodies

Yummy Heladeria is a cute little ice cream shop in the city centre, with 100% gluten-free options and plenty of both vegan and non-vegan flavours. It is the perfect address to cater for everyone’s dietary requirements.

Yummy Heladeria is open every day and located right by the Cathedral. The exact address is Calle Molina Lario, 6, 29015 Málaga

What are the prices like?

At the time of writing this blog post, it’s 2.70€ for a small cone, 3€ for a medium and 4€ for a large. They are single-flavour. If you want 2 flavours, then the price will range from 4€ to 5€.

If you choose the cup option, you’ll pay 3€ for a small (one flavour), 3,50€ for a medium (up to 2 flavours) and 4.50€ for a large (up to 3 flavours).

In Malaga, these prices are very reasonable compared to some other ice cream shops.

Ice cream, but not only

The best part is, you can also find vegan cakes and treats, such as brownies, fruit tarts and cookies! They also offer a range of drinks including fresh juices.

What are the best vegan ice cream flavours at Yummy Heladeria?

The flavours are not the same every day, but they usually have staple sorbet flavours as well as a creamy vegan vanilla which is a must-try. I would also recommend trying the coconut flavour, absolutely delicious.

But you can’t go there and not try one of their more “decadent” flavours, such as Vanilla Brownie with big chunks of vegan brownie.

Or if you’re an Oreo fan, hopefully they’ll have made a batch of vegan Oreo ice cream on the day!

The best vegan ice cream flavour, ever

My absolute favourite flavour (and the best vegan ice cream I have ever tasted) is Vegan Kinder Bueno. If you’re getting a single flavour cup or cone, I would definitely recommend choosing this one.

It tastes like the real thing and has the creamiest, richest texture. Luckily for me they always have this flavour when I go on Sunday for my weekly ice cream treat.
