Noubalm

About Noubalm

Noubalm is a Wirral-based, aromatherapy-inspired brand founded by Sara, who has been a beauty therapist for over 20 years. Noubalm products are handmade, organic, chemical-free and vegan (except the balms which contain beeswax).

Sara also has a beauty clinic where she offers a wide variety of treatments from facials to massages.

Favourite Noubalm products

My absolute favourite product is the pulse point roller ball, which I always keep on my desk. I love using it when I start feeling stressed or can’t focus. I simply apply it on my inner wrists then breathe in for a few seconds. It’s instantly calming the blend of essential oils smells so good.

I also really enjoy using the Neroli Castor Cleansing Oil to remove my makeup and clean my face at night. Castor oil has anti-bacterial properties which help keep the skin clear and it’s also great to restore moisture.

Finally, I’m glad to have found a vegan dry shampoo powder to use between hair washes!

Wildefruit

About Wildefruit

Wildefruit is a recently launched brand all about circular skincare. The founder Nicola spent a lot of time training in skincare formulation before creating her own vegan, cruelty-free and sustainable skincare products.

The range is handmade in the UK using upcycled left over ingredients from the food industry, which helps reduce food waste.

The other ingredients are wild harvested and mainly collected from the ground after falling naturally.

Wildefruit products

So far I have only tried the Buff + Run Face Polish, which I’ve been using a few mornings per week. It contains upcycled mango, apricot and papaya as well as plant powders which work together to exfoliate, cleanse and plump the skin. I love how fresh and brighter my skin looks and feel after rinsing it off!

I haven’t tried the Bright Spark Enzyme Oil but it has amazing reviews so it might be something you’d like to try if you’re looking to soothe your oily, combination or blemish prone skin.

I am a huge fan of the Glow Mask, which I featured on my Instagram. This mineral face mask contains Matcha Green Tea which has antioxidant properties, as well as detoxifying French Green Clay.

I have been using it once a week to help keep my skin clear and I absolutely love how much brighter it looks when I rinse the mask off. Like every other product, this mask is free from palm oil, parabens, synthetic fragrance and other nasties.

I also highly recommend the Sooth Himalayan Salt Body Scrub. If you like a thick scrub, you will love this one. Himalayan Salt truly does wonders when it comes to removing dead cells and leaving your skin super smooth.

This body scrub almost feels like applying a paste and although it truly exfoliates, it’s super gentle on the skin and doesn’t cause any irritation. Plus, it smells incredible!

Floragy

About Floragy

Louisa launched her vegan skincare brand Floragy in 2019 from her home in Kent. Her mission? Create natural skincare products that are accessible to everyone.

The products are handmade in small batches to guarantee freshness and minimises waste. The ingredients are sourced within the UK from cruelty-free suppliers and the formulas don’t contain any synthetic preservatives.

Floragy Revive Face Oil review

I have been using Floragy Revive Face Oil to finish off my evening skincare routine with a face massage, which is one of my favourite skincare rituals. It deeply hydrates without leaving you with a “heavy” feeling.

I put a few drops on my forehead, cheeks and chin then I massage onto my skin with gentle movements. As my skin tends to get dry and dull, I really enjoy using an oil at night to wake up with well-hydrated skin.

Also, if you love the smell of Jasmine, this oil is for you!
