Vegan and cruelty-free alternatives to Laura Mercier best-sellers

Laura Mercier is a famous makeup brand with many award-winning products but unfortunately, none of them are vegan. Can you get the same flawless results with vegan makeup? You sure can!

Check out the vegan and cruelty-free alternatives to Laura Mercier’s 5 best-sellers.

Is Laura Mercier cruelty-free?

It appears that Laura Mercier isn’t cruelty-free, at least there’s nothing that confirms that they are.

First, Laura Mercier is owned by Shiseido, a cosmetic groups that still practices animal testing. Plus, the brand is not certified by any cruelty-free organisations.

Although they claim on their website that they do not test on animals, they don’t say whether or not their suppliers carry on animal testing.

Is Laura Mercier vegan?

Laura Mercier is not a vegan brand. They use animal products in their formulations, such as beeswax and lanolin. Some brushes also contain animal hair.

Although it’s a shame, there are plenty of awesome brands that are either 100% vegan or have developed a vegan range, offering the same high-quality results as Laura Mercier.
