My experience at UNYC Massage Málaga

I was in Málaga for 10 days before heading to Valencia for a half marathon. I always book a massage on race week and was looking for a place in Málaga.

I came across UNYC online and was very impressed with their fantastic customer reviews. I got in touch via Whatsapp, asked a few questions and decided to treat myself to the full body treatment, including a 60 minute body massage followed by 30 minutes of facial & cranial massage.

I was greeted by Rezija, the massage therapist who led me into the room. I felt immediately calmer in this intimate space. The soothing, quiet atmosphere with relaxing music was a real contrast to the hustle and bustle of Málaga city centre.

The lovely Rezija asked me a few questions about the massage I was looking for, and I was glad to have the opportunity to explain that I didn’t want very strong pressure, just enough to relax both my muscles and mind. That’s exactly what she did.

She tailored the treatment to ensure that she was spending enough time on the area that had knots, especially my upper back. The massage was energetic at times to effectively get rid of the tension but never uncomfortable or too strong.

The body massage was amazing but my favourite part was the scultping facial and cranial massage. Absolute bliss! It was incredibly relaxing and I could feel the tension leaving my jaw and forehead as she was using different lifting techniques.

Rezija was brilliant, clearly very skilled and when someone loves what they do, it shines through their work.

I was really glad to have booked the full body package, because there’s no better way to relieves tension in the central nervous system than a cranial massage!

The whole treatment lasted exactly 90 minutes, it wasn’t cut short like it sometimes happen in some places. I was given plenty of time afterwards to get dressed and leave the room.

To sum it up, it was one of the best full body massage experiences I’ve had and I’ll definitely book another treatment at UNYC next time I’m in Málaga.
