SAYSKY Contemporary Cartoons collection review
I’ve received four pieces from this collection so far: the Pace Jacket, Combat T-Shirt, Combat Sports Bra and Combat+ Short Tights.
As someone who mostly wear the plain, “Clean” styles, what I really like about the Contemporary Cartoons collection is that the print is subtle enough.
Unless you’re looking at it closely, you won’t notice the all-over hand drawn cartoon pattern because the colours are not clashing, for instance the stick figures are light grey on the white pieces. It’s playful and funky, but most pieces are easy enough to wear for everyone.
Contemporary Cartoons Pace Jacket
I wore this jacket for the first time on a typical British weather day, it was windy and raining, and I was really glad to have this jacket on for my long run.
It’s made with SAYSKYDRY performance fabric with wicking features keeping you dry, and acts as a windbreaker to make your run enjoyable in windy conditions without making you overheat.
The reflective details come in handy when running in low-visibility conditions, so do the two zipped pockets to store light essentials.

Contemporary Cartoons Combat T-shirt
What I love the most about this top, besides the subtle cartoon print, is the technical construction that prevents the fabric from clinging onto the skin.
It’s also moisture-wicking and quick-drying, for optimal breathability and airflow.
The cut, with the regular fit and round neck is both comfortable and flattering. The Combat T-shirts also come in plain colouways, they’re my favourites for running.

Contemporary Cartoons Combat Sports Bra
This medium support bra has removable pads and features the SAYSKYDRY Performance Fabric which is lightweight and sweat wicking.
I find this bra extremely comfortable for running and it provides me with enough support for high intensity workout classes.
My particularly like the stretchy mesh back, for enhanced comfort and breathability.

Contemporary Cartoons Combat+ Short Tights
The Combat+ Short Tights are my all-time favourite shorts. I have a black pair which I’ve worn a lot, both in training and races, and I was really glad to see these shorts in the Contemporary Cartoons range.
My favourite features are the side pockets on each thigh, really handy for your phone and gels. There’s also a zipped pocket at the back for small items.
They’re also made with the brand’s signature SAYSKYDRY performance fabric designed to keep you dry and comfortable. Plus, the anti-slip silicone dots on the inside ensure that the shorts do not ride up, no matter how fast you go or how big your stride is.
If you were to only get one SAYSKY piece, I cannot recommend these shorts enough!
