Sadhana Massage Malaga Center review
If you’ve been looking to book a massage in Malaga, you may have come across Sadhana Massage Center. I visited this place a few times and here’s my honest review.
About Sadhana Massage Malaga Center
Sadhana Massage is a cozy massage center in Malaga with a very peaceful and serene atmosphere. They offer a variety of massages as well as facials.
Sadhana Massage is located at Number 7, Calle Santa Lucia, 29008. They are in a building on the second floor, so the exact place can be a little tricky to find. They recently opened a brand new location nearby, on Plaza de la Constitucion (Building number 2) which is much more modern with bigger rooms.
The prices are extremely reasonable, especially as I’m comparing them to what I usually pay in London.
As of October 2023, a 60 minute relaxing massage is only 55€, whilst a sports massage or hot stone massage costs 60€.
Bookings are made online and a first payment (half the price of the service booked) is required. The rest will be paid at your appointment, just make sure to bring cash as there’s no card machine at the massage center.
My experience and honest review
I visited Sadhana Massage twice as a paying customer and once on a gifted basis (in exchange for them taking videos of the massage for their social media).
First time: a dream
I was looking for a place to book a relaxing massage that wouldn’t be too expensive, I just wanted to flush the tension in my legs. I stumbled upon Sadhana Massage and booked the 40 minute Sadhana Massage, their signature service designed to relieve tensions and leave you in a state of deep relaxation.
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a lovely therapist and the serene atmosphere made me feel like I had stepped into a bubble of tranquility.
The massage was simply incredible, I didn’t expect such level of attention to detail for the price I had paid. For instance, the therapist placed a warm towel on my upper back whilst massaging my legs, she took time to massage my feet and hands, even my nape which felt so relaxing.
I could tell that she really knew what she was doing. She adapted the massage to what my body needed, and as I had more tension in one leg, she used different techniques on each leg. She was gentle, yet the pressure was firm enough.
At the end, she used a warm towel to wipe the excess oil from my body, which I really appreciated.
As there had been some confusion with my appointment (not the therapist’s fault but her boss) and I waited a little, she even extended the length of my massage for free. This is unheard of in London. I was so delighted with the experience that I booked another massage for the following week.
Second time: almost as good
I had booked on the same day and at the same time, hoping to have the same therapist. It was someone else, and although she was really good, I felt like the massage was more relaxing when given by the other practitioner. When it comes to massages and beauty treatments, your experience largely depends on who delivers it and how, and we all have personal preferences.
There was also some confusion with the appointment I had booked, which can happen. I’d recommend double-checking when you arrive at your appointment that they have the right details just in case.
Although this massage was not as perfect as the first one, I was still going to book again when I’d be back in Malaga as they do a great job for very reasonable prices.
Third time: a dream again
I was kindly invited for a full body relaxing massage and it was an hour of pure bliss. The therapist really knew her stuff and spent more time working on areas that were tight.
I left feeling incredibly relaxed, and from now on I’ll always book a massage at Sadhana every time I’m in Malaga.
If you’re ever in Malaga and looking for a place for a great sports or relaxing massage, I would really recommend this spot, and if you can, try to ask for Soraya or Tatiana, they are incredible!
