Kettlebell upper body workout (home friendly) | JaxJox Kettlebell Connect

During lockdown I am working out in my small London flat. My kitchen is the only room that has enough space to be the designated workout area. But you know what, if I can workout in a tiny space, so can you. No excuses!

I was only doing bodyweight and band exercises until I was gifted this JaxJox Kettlebell Connect and I have to say, this was the best lockdown delivery I could ever get!

If you have a kettlebell at home or even a dumbbell, give this upper body workout a go!

PS: if you prefer follow along workouts, check out this 12 min full body circuit and enjoy my French accent!

Kettlebell Upper Body Workout

With this workout we’re focusing on the back, the shoulders and the core. I’d recommend doing 3 to 4 sets of each exercise, for 8-12 reps each/each side.

1: Single arm deadlift
Keep your shoulders back and down, your back straight and core engaged.

2: Front raises
Keep your elbows slightly bent and don’t let your wrists go higher than your shoulders.

3: Single arm bent over row
Keep your elbow close to your ribs when rowing.

4: Windmill
It might require some practice but it’s a great one for shoulder and core stability! Keep your eyes on the KB at all times. Engage your core. Make sure to turn your feet the same way you’re bending over.

5: Plank with toe taps
Do I even need to mention again how much I love plank exercises for core stability? Just make sure that your shoulders are above your wrists and engage your core.

I’d love for you to tag me on Instagram if you give it a go or to drop me a quick email and let me know how you find it!

About JaxJox Kettlebell Connect

This adjustable kettlebell is amazing for home workouts. No other words! It’s basically 6 kettlebells in one, so that not only you save money but you also save space.

It comes with a base where you put a bunch of discs. The KB itself is like an empty shell that weighs 5kg. When you place it on the base, you just touch a button for the KB to “load itself” up until 19kg!

How genius is this? I’m a fan.
